How to Use Self Enrolment

By enabling self enrollment as an enrollment method, you can enable users to enroll themselves into a course by simply clicking on "Enroll me" on the course page. You can also set an enrolment key so that only users with whom you have shared that key will be able to enroll themselves into your course.

Step 1: In the relevant course, click on "Enrolment methods."‍

Step 2: From the "Add method" drop-down list, select "Self enrolment."

Step 3: You can leave all settings as default. If you would like to set an enrolment key, you can enter it here and make sure that it is enabled by clicking the "eye" icon to completely open.

*Note: If you set an enrolment key, you will need to send this key to the users whom you wish to allow the self-enrolment option.

Step 4: Once you're done, scroll down and click "Add method."

Self enrolment will now be displayed under "Enrolment methods." Depending on whether you set an enrolment key, users logged in to your LMS site will now be able to enrol themselves for your course (with or without an enrolment key).
